CHARITY
Tara is pleased to support several international and national charities and causes. She has walked the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer 3-Day and crewed the Avon Breast Cancer 2-Day as well as donating time and money to other causes she is passionate about. She even donated her hair (cutting over 8 1/2 inches) to give to the Million Inch Chain for Beautiful Lengths.
       

BIO

An only child, Tara began acting at age nine. She grew up all over the country, from VA and AZ to OK and MI. Tara received her BFA degree in theatre from Rutgers University's Mason Gross School of the Arts and the London Academy of Theatre, where she also spent a semester studying abroad. Tara has performed internationally at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and has been seen in everything from Shakespearean classics to world premieres nationally.  

Tara now lives in Los Angeles where she continues to pursue her passion for the entertainment industry: in film, television, animation (voice-over) and stage. She's been fortunate to work with an array of wonderful artists in a variety of once-in-a-lifetime productions. A372E8

Tara's recently turned to writing and producing; she's produced theatre in NY and LA and started her own independent production company, Monkey Kingdom Productions, with business partner Yuri Lowenthal in Hollywood. Currently in post production on MKP's second feature, CON ARTISTS, their first feature film, TUMBLING AFTER is available on iTunes. She and Lowenthal have collaborated on five feature scripts. Together they have also authored and published a book on voice-over called Voice-Over Voice Actor, now in it's third printing.

Tara is also a certified Feng Shui consultant through the Shambhalla West Coast Institute and practices yoga. She has studied hypnotherapy and is a Certified Master Hypnotist, NLP Practitioner and Therapeutic Imagery Facilitator thru the Hypnosis Motivation Institute; to find out more about her practice visit ImagineItTrue.
