Tara created, produced and starred in festival favorite WHATTA LARK, season one of this comedy is currently streaming on all platforms. The series was screened at the exclusive BFF Film Festival as well as HollyWebFest and was a Daily Pick for Stareable. The feature script is currently in development.
Tara wrote, produced and starred in a steam-punk adventure called TOPSY MCGEE VS. THE SKY PIRATES, which is an official selection of New York City International Film Festival and in the prestigious Marche du Film at Cannes, directed by Travis Stevens. There is an accompanying multi-issue graphic novel which will be published soon.
Tara finally can say unironically, "I'm not a doctor, but I play one on tv!" following her appearance on NBC's THE PLAYER.
Tara appeared in world-premiere Clive Barker one-act THE DEPARTED as part of second annual Sci-Fest LA at the ACME Theatre in Hollywood.
Tara recurred on season 1 of Geek & Sundry's IAWTV award-winning superhero web-series CAPER as trusty gal-on-the-street newscaster Cherry Storm. The series is written by Amy Berg and Mike Sizemore and directed by Donald Murphy.
Tara produced and is featured as a 'diva' version of herself in feature film CON ARTISTS opposite Yuri Lowenthal in Boris Kievsky's mockumentary about conventions. The feature was an official selection for MockFest and GeekFest and is available on VOD and DVD.
Tara has appeared in several short films: 100 LEVELS OF JUST IN TIME, adventure short directed by America Young, about an interactive board game; HERE AND AFTER a 1960's horror possession film by Jake Akuna; and UNREMARKABLE by Jared Anderson about the life of a body after death. Tara appears in festival-favorite RECALCULATING, opposite husband Yuri Lowenthal, directed by Peter Bean. Virgin Airlines even selected it for mid-flight screenings.
Tara wrote, produced and stars in adorable kid-venture THE MANY MINI QUESTS OF ROUGE ET BRUN which is an Official Selection at the Brooklyn Film Fest's kidsfilmfest and the Catalina Film Festival.
Tara wrote, produced and starred in a time travel adventure short called OUT OF TIME which just made the festival rounds, directed by Travis Stevens and Luis Reyes. It won an Award of Merit at the Los Angeles Cinema Festival of Hollywood and was the February 2014 selection for Best Short Film for Film Fest Flix.
Tara has appeared in a number of commercials. Several as part of an ongoing SNAPPLE campaign and accompanying music video as well as a handful of additional companies including TOYOTA, AT&T, LUNCHABLES and GNC.

Tara voiced Ester, Subdora & Jennifer Nocturne, on BEN 10: ALIEN FORCE, Cartoon Network's juggernaut; Katarina in LEAGUE OF LEGENDS; Mitsuru & Elizabeth in the PERSONA video games, Temari in NARUTO; and Edelgard in FIRE EMBLEM.
Tara voiced Yuri Watanable in Marvel’s SPIDER-MAN for the PS4. She returns to the franchise in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 as Yuri Watanabe and her vigilante side, Wraith, in this smash hit which topped records for being the fastest selling PlayStation videogame of all time on opening weekend.
Writing
Tara co-wrote award-winning best-selling non-fiction book on the world of voice-over with husband Yuri Lowenthal. VOICE-OVER VOICE ACTOR: WHAT IT'S LIKE BEHIND THE MIC from Bug Bot Press along with VOVA: THE EXTENDED EDITION.
Tara's interactive illustrated journal of a traveling Romani girl, ZARTANA, was printed as a limited edition as part of a successful crowdfunding campaign. The epistolary book follows the journey of Zartana though the European wilderness over the course of a year, and has removable items and interactive elements such as recipes for the meals she makes, herb cards that help her understand the flora around her, instructions on her daily activities from hunting to mapping by the stars as well as tarot cards and pull out maps.
Tara's children's book RELAX YOUR TOES uses therapeutic imagery and relaxation techniques to help kids get to sleep.
Tara’s dark YA novel PREP SCHOOL FOR SERIAL KILLERS released in the fall of 2022, and became an Amazon Best Seller in its category. Tara is currently working on the sequel to the novel.
